AUTOMATION
The scientific-technical conference „AUTOMATION – Innovations and Future Perspectives” is organised by the Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP since 1997. This event has a well-established position in the calendar of national scientific and technical events in the fields of automation, robotics and measurements technology.
Unlike other conferences, the AUTOMATION is organised annually and it always accompanies the International Trade Fair for Automation and Measurements AUTOMATICON, also co-organised by PIAP. Subsequent editions of the conference have gathered participants from different communities – scientific and business units, presenting theoretical achievements and innovative practical solutions. The conference provides an opportunity to exchange experiences in the field of practical applications of automation and robotics, as well as measuring equipment and systems.
The scientific patronage over the conference is held by the Committee on Automatic Control and Robotics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the scientific and technical patronage by the Polish Society for Measurements, Automatics and Robotics POLSPAR.
The Scientific Committee composed of more than 20 scientists from the leading academic centres, scientific units and institutions focuses on the high quality of the presented papers. Article submissions and communication with authors and reviewers is carried out using the EasyChair system, which guarantees the so-called double-blind review of the works.
It should be noted that the organisers of the AUTOMATION conference regularly give a voice to the authors of the best master and engineering theses, awarded in the “Młodzi Innowacyjni” (Young Innovative) contest. This competition has been organised by the Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP since 2008 and focuses on innovative solutions in the areas of automation, robotics and measurements.
