The ‘SP4CE’ (Erasmus+) Project

Strategic Partnership for Creativity and Entrepreneurship (SP4CE).

Project purposes:

The ‘SP4CE’ Project responds to the goals and requirements identified in the message from Bruges concerning closer European collaboration in vocational education and training in 2011–2020. The project coincides specifically with two strategic goals defined in the document: ‘Improvement of quality, effectiveness appeal and adequacy of vocational education and training’ and ‘Improvement of creativity, innovativeness and entrepreneurship’.

‘SP4CE’ is intended to establish close collaboration between project partners by sharing of advanced educational solutions and by developing innovative tools to facilitate communication and joint activities of students, schools and companies (business organisations).

These tools will be developed as on-line applications accessible via Web browsers, designed for three main target groups:

  • Trainers (companies, industry)
  • Consultants (vocational schools, academies)
  • Students (vocational schools, academies)

The project will use results, experience and approaches from two projects implemented as part of the ‘Lifetime Learning’ Program. The OpenInn Project will contribute a new teaching and organizational model enabling groups and individuals to discover their innovative potential and strengthen the sense of their own value using ICT tools. The ‘HIG’ project will contribute experience in supporting entrepreneurship and improving creativity using the dedicated tools: ‘Knowledge Generating House’ and ‘E-assessment Mode’.

The ‘SP4CE’ project is scheduled to develop, implement and follow up five products. Results of the project will be broadly disseminated: there will be actions aimed to distribute and promote the project and its results, among others by organization of dedicated popularizing events, press publications and Web sites.

The ‘SP4CE’ project consortium is composed of six partners from four EU countries. The project coordinator, the Industrial Institute for Automation and Measurements (PIAP), Poland, will be responsible for coordination and follow-up. PIAP will also participate in developing project deliverables and in collaboration with companies.

Planned project results / deliverables:

  • The ‘SP4CE’ portal: IT platform for support of e-learning
  • Teaching concept for using the ‘SP4CE’ platform
  • Guide for consultants
  • Guide for mentors
  • General guide: ‘How to use the SP4CE portal’
