Project purposes: The goal of the project is to develop a new type of magnetic field detectors using graphene. Graphene, an allotropic form of carbon made of individual atoms, features high mobility of electric charges, low resistivity and slight thickness. These features make it suitable for highly sensitive magnetic field sensors with low level of noise in the output signal. The sensors will be added to the sales offer both as components (for further integration by end users) and as key components of a new type of current transformers for measurement of direct and alternating current. The current transformers and magnetic field detectors delivered by the project will be affordable, which will contribute to market success of products containing these components.
