Łukasiewicz-PIAP invention awarded yet again. PIAP PATROL robot for C-IED and CBRN tasks and the Protective Sleeve for Robot Manipulator have been awarded Gold Medals at the IWIS 2020 Expo.

Łukasiewicz – PIAP has presented two projects at the 14th International Warsaw Invention & Innovation Show (IWIS) 2020: PIAP PATROL robot for C-IED and CBRN operations and the Protective Sleeve for Robot Manipulator. Both were awarded the Gold Medal.

PIAP Patrol mobile robot is one of the latest innovations by Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP. PIAP Patrol is a medium-sized tracklaying vehicle designed to detect chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) risks and neutralise improvised explosive devices (C-IED). The robot is easy to transport due to its modular design and features a 6-axis manipulator and a gripper with a clamping function. Find out more about PIAP Patrol robot at:
