Young & Innovative – thesis work competition

Competitions for the best theses (engineer’s and master’s) in the fields of automation, robotics and measurements that have been organized since 2009 form part of educational activity aimed at transfer of knowledge from science to business. With time the range of categories was also extended to include doctoral dissertations.

525 works were submitted to the Young & Innovative competition over the period 2009-2017. Most of them were submitted by graduates of the Warsaw University of Technology (147), Gdansk University of Technology (53), Silesian University of Technology (53) and the AGH University of Science and Technology (50). So far, the most successful was 5th jubilee edition of this competition in 2013. 116 works were submitted to the competition at that time. The prizes were funded by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, sponsors and, to a large extent, from Łukasiewicz – PIAP’s own funds.
